A Dearborn man is in custody after allegedly firing multiple shots to scare children away from playing near his home.
The incident took place on the 4200 block of Bingham in Dearborn’s east end around 3:35 pm.
After a tense 20-minute standoff, the homeowner surrendered and was taken into custody by the police. The area remains closed off for investigation, but the lockdowns at the schools have been lifted.
