Dearborn teen dies after motorcycle crash on I-94

A 19-year-old Dearborn man is dead after a motorcycle crash Monday night on 1-94.

According to Michigan State Police, troopers arrived at the scene at around 11:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes near Merriman Road, close to Detroit Metro Airport.

The investigation revealed that two motorcyclists were traveling at high speeds when one rider lost control and crashed into the concrete wall.

The rider, identified as Hadi Al Khaled, was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a light pole. The impact was so severe that his body was split in half.

His uncle chose to share this graphic detail to show the serious consequences of riding at high speeds and convey the gravity of this tragic incident, hoping to warn other riders.

Al Khaled was pronounced dead at the scene, and his family has been notified. No other injuries were reported.
