Dash cam footage obtained by Metro Detroit News shows a June 2025 police chase that started in Beverly Hills and ended with a crash in Detroit.
Police say an officer tried to stop a driver suspected of a drug deal near 13 Mile and Southfield Road late that night. The car turned out to be stolen, and the driver took off, leading police through Southfield and into Detroit.
The chase ended when the suspect’s vehicle hit another car at Lodge and McNichols. Five people were hurt, including the innocent driver.
Officers later found narcotics inside the stolen vehicle. The case remains under investigation.
