An investigation is ongoing after a man fired a shot at a Sinai-Grace Hospital nurse.
The incident happened around 11:00 p.m. Saturday on a patient floor at Sinai-Grace Hospital.
A patient pulled out a gun and fired a shot at a nurse who was caring for him. Seconds later, another shot was fired, and everyone on the floor began running.
Authorities made the room and learned the man later shot himself after attempting to shoot the nurse first.
The man is currently listed in critical condition. No one else was injured.
At this time, officials are investigating how he managed to get a gun inside the hospital.
