A barricaded gunman situation has ended after the male subject shot his his girlfriend’s brother multiple times on Detroit’s west side.
The incident happened in the block of Carlin, near Joy Road and Schaefer, Tuesday around 2:00 p.m.
The suspect shot his girlfriend’s brother three times in the leg before barricading himself inside the home.
Detroit police SWAT went inside the location and found the alleged suspect dead and a gun located near him.
