Thousands of young Detroiters can now apply for paid summer jobs through the 2025 Grow Detroit’s Young Talent (GDYT) application portal.
The initiative has provided nearly 80,000 summer work experiences for Detroit youth since its inception in 2015.
The GDYT program, open to Detroit residents ages 14-24, connects young people with work experiences across various industries, including corporate employers, small businesses, community organizations, and city government departments.
Youths interested in participating can apply at GDYT.org through May 16, 2025. The application opened today. Employers and community partners can also sign up to provide work opportunities.
