Detroit police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday night.
The incident took place on 8 Mile Road, just west of Wyoming Avenue.
Officers located a 32-year-old woman inside a vehicle, and discovered she was shot in the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man was arrested, and a gun was recovered nearby shortly after. The investigation remains ongoing.
