A woman was arrested after biting a Michigan State Police (MSP) trooper and stealing a patrol vehicle, leading police on a high-speed chase, MSP reports.
Troopers from the MSP Sixth District responded to a domestic Saturday evening. The exact location of the incident has not been disclosed.
During the arrest, the woman struggled with the trooper and bit them. While the trooper was dealing with other individuals, the woman managed to slip out of her handcuffs and steal the patrol vehicle.
Additional units pursued the stolen vehicle, which eventually crashed. The woman was taken into custody again and transported to jail with additional charges.
The trooper was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
