A woman was arrested Monday evening at the IHOP on Ford Road and Telegraph in Dearborn Heights after a dispute over a child’s eating behavior escalated into a physical altercation.
According to witnesses, the incident began when a woman allegedly gave another woman’s son a “funny look” while he was eating. The boy was reportedly licking food off his plate, which may have drawn attention. His mother then confronted the other woman, and the situation quickly turned physical.
Police were called to the scene, and one woman was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
