A significant winter storm is expected to hit Southeast Michigan this week, bringing heavy snow and hazardous travel conditions.
The National Weather Service says snow will begin after 2 p.m. Wednesday and continue through early Thursday morning. Widespread snowfall is expected, with some areas receiving between 3-6 inches.
