Westland police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.
The incident happened at a home in the block of Surrey Heights, near Newburgh and Michigan Ave.
A man shot his girlfriend multiple times before taking his own life. The investigation is ongoing.
