The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a one-day hiring event on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Criminal Justice Center, located at 5301 Russell Street in Detroit.
Starting salaries begin at $51,087.85, with a top salary of $84,545.63 and $5,000 in hiring bonuses available.
Attendees will have access to on-the-spot interviews and free pre-employment testing.
The event will also include free on-site health screenings, in-person demonstrations, and a chance to meet with specialty units.
Applicants should bring a driver’s license, social security card, high school diploma or transcript, and birth certificate.
