Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans Delivers 2024 State of the County Address

Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans delivered his annual State of the County this week. 

During his speech, Evans focused on the all-new state-of-the-art Criminal Justice Center, infrastructure improvements, mental health services, and much more. 

Evans also expressed concern over the crisis in the Middle East. He emphasized solidarity with affected communities and called for humanitarian action.  
Deputy Wayne County Executive Assad Turfe echoed Evans’ message, emphasizing the county’s progress and future aspirations.

 “Our journey has been marked by resilience, innovation and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of every resident,” said Deputy Wayne County Executive Assad Turfe. 

 Members of his leadership team were on hand along with our esteemed judges. More than 1,000 invited guests packed the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn.
