A 33-year-old man was charged after prosecutors alleged he shot his wife’s ex while the ex delivered gifts to his son.
On Thursday, November 28, 2024, authorities say the victim arrived at Darrien Harris’ residence to deliver a gift to his son.
A verbal altercation ensued between Harris and the victim. As the victim was getting into a vehicle to leave, Harris allegedly shot him, prosecutors said in a news release.
Harris was arraigned in 37th Warren District Court, where District Court Chief Judge John Chmura set bond at $750,000 cash/surety.
