Walmart testing out body cams

Walmart, the nation’s largest retailer, is testing the use of body cameras for some of its employees in a new pilot program.

The initiative is aimed at enhancing employee safety.

This comes on the heels of similar measures by other retailers. Late last year, stores under the TJX Companies, including TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods, introduced body cameras for unarmed security guards to help address shoplifting concerns.
