Video: suspects rob Jets delivery driver of 3 boxes of pizza in Pontiac

Oakland County deputies are investigating an armed robbery involving a pizza delivery driver.

The incident happened around 9:11 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, near the 100 block of Crystal Lake Drive, close to Woodward Avenue and South Boulevard. Deputies were initially dispatched to the Jet’s Pizza on Woodward, where the driver reported the robbery.

The 20-year-old delivery driver told deputies he arrived at the delivery address and knocked on the door, but no one answered. Moments later, three unknown men approached him. One of them pulled out a handgun and demanded the pizzas. The suspects took three large pizzas along with the delivery bag before running away on foot.

Deputies searched the area and found the delivery bag nearby. The Oakland County Sheriff’s K9 Unit also responded, but was unable to locate the suspects.

Detectives are continuing the investigation. The suspects have not yet been identified but we were told by neighbors they appeared to be in their teens.
