A high-speed chase on southbound I-75 ended in a crash Monday afternoon after a Detroit man behind the wheel of a stolen Porsche lost control and rolled the vehicle several times, police said.
Video obtained by MDN captured the moments of the crash. According to Grand Blanc Township Police, the suspect allegedly stole the Porsche from another Genesee County community before the pursuit began
Grand Blanc Township Officers spotted the Porsche around 3 p.m. and began following it along I-75 near Oakland county line.
An officer deployed Stop Sticks near the Dixie Highway interchange in an attempt to disable the vehicle. The suspect swerved to avoid them but lost control of the car, causing it to flip multiple times, reports say.
He was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
