Video captures spectator being hit by car that was doing donuts in Detroit

A man is lucky to be alive after being struck by a Dodge Challenger.

The incident happened during an unauthorized car stunt show early Sunday morning around 4:00 a.m. in the area of Greenfield and Grand River.

A group of people had gathered at the intersection to watch drivers perform donuts, with one vehicle hitting a bystander, launching him into the air.

Fortunately, the pedestrian escaped with non-life-threatening injuries

The Detroit Police Department has been working to curb drag racing and stunt driving; anyone with information about it can contact Detroit Police.
