The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) confirmed it carried out several coordinated search warrants in Inkster on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation.
One of the operations was captured on video, showing a person being handcuffed outside a business near Inkster Road and Cherry Hill. Agents dressed in tactical gear were seen escorting the individual.
“Confirmed that DEA executed multiple search warrants today in Inkster as a part of an ongoing drug investigation. No information on arrests or seizures,” a DEA spokesperson said.
Further details, including the targets of the search warrants or the outcome of the searches, have not been released. The investigation remains active.
