Lakeview Public Schools in St. Clair Shores is rolling out a new nicotine and THC sniffing dog this school year.
Working with a company called Zebra K9s, the district aims to tackle rising concerns about vaping and marijuana use among students.
According to the school, the trained dog will patrol schools, to create a safer environment by detecting these substances on campus.
