Up to 20,000 marshmallows to be dropped over several parks in metro Detroit on Friday

A helicopter will drop more than 20,000 marshmallows over several parks in metro Detroit on Friday ahead of Easter.

Wayne County:

▪️9:00 AM at Elizabeth Park in Trenton

▪️11:00 AM at Nankin Mills Park in Westland

▪️Sensory Friendly: Nankin Mills Interpretive Center at 9 a.m. A unique event where marshmallows will gently fall from a City of Westland fire truck. (New this year. Waynecounty.com for more info on events)

▪️Catalpa Oaks County Park in Southfield at 10 a.m.

Thousands of marshmallows will be dropped from the sky. You do not eat the marshmallows but instead, turn them in for a prize.

There will be three separate age groups for children: 4 and younger, 5 – 7 years old eight and older.
