Police are searching for 45-year-old Jeanita Hopings after she allegedly broke into her boyfriend’s home and cut his testicles, leaving him seriously injured.
It happened at a house on Boothbay Avenue in Toledo. Investigators say Hopings kicked in the front door and forced her way inside.
Her boyfriend told police he heard someone breaking in and ran downstairs with no clothes to see what was happening.
That’s when Hopings attacked him and sliced open his testicles with a sharp object, causing a deep wound that left one of them exposed, according to police reports.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police say she has not been arrested yet and remains wanted. The photo released is from a previous arrest.
Toledo is about one hour from Detroit and it’s located just south of the Michigan border in Ohio.
