Thousands Line Woodward Avenue for Dream Cruise 2025 Featuring Vintage Rides and Muscle Cars

By Benicia Ciara, TMDN

The rumble of engines, gleaming chrome, and a wave of nostalgia took over Metro Detroit on Saturday as the 30th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise rolled down historic Woodward Avenue.

Billed as the world’s largest one-day celebration of classic car culture, the event once again drew more than a million spectators and over 40,000 vintage and specialty vehicles from across the globe.

Spanning nine Oakland County communities—from Ferndale to Pontiac—the Dream Cruise is more than just a parade of classic cars. It’s a celebration of Detroit’s automotive legacy, local pride, and the enduring power of community.

Festivities stretched beyond the Saturday cruise, including the M1 Concourse Dream Festival in Pontiac and Ferndale’s Lights & Sirens parade, offering live music, food trucks, and family activities throughout the weekend.

For many attendees, the Dream Cruise is as much about tradition as it is about horsepower. It’s more than cars—it’s about memories, family, and being part of something uniquely.
