Detroit police are investigating a fatal shooting of a teen at a park.
The incident occurred in the area of Lyndon near Meyers at Butzel Park.
Police say At approximately 8:15 pm, a 16-year-old male was found unresponsive at the Butzel playground with a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by medics where he succumbed to his injuries.
Homicide Detectives are investigating this incident and no suspects are in custody at this time.
