An investigation is underway after a fatal shooting Sunday night in Detroit.
The shooting occurred on Irvington Street, near 7 Mile and I-75, around 10:30 p.m.
According to witnesses at the scene, an 18-year-old was outside when an unknown suspect approached and shot him in the head.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect fled on foot after the incident.
The investigation is ongoing; anyone with information is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
