Teen Charged After Fleeing Police Four Times, Nearly Crashing Into Officers During Street Takeover

A 19-year-old female was charged after she allegedly drove at speeds of 80-90 mph, evaded officers multiple times, almost hit them, and participated in an illegal takeover event in Detroit.

Prosecutors told the court that Dionna Gray allegedly refused four separate traffic-stop attempts in a Chrysler 200, drove the wrong way on a one-way street, and nearly struck a scout car before putting her vehicle in reverse when officers ordered her to surrender. She also had no plate on her car. Gray faces two counts:
• Reckless Driving
• Police Officer-Fleeing, 4th Degree

During the May 29 arraignment, Gray entered a not-guilty plea to both charges. Her bond was set at 10K personal with a GPS tether.
