Suspects use U-hauls to break into 2 stores just minutes apart

Suspects used U-Haul trucks to break into two businesses early Monday morning.

The first break-in happened around 3:30 a.m. at Fenkell and Marlowe in Detroit when a U-Haul was driven into the front of a check cashing business. An ATM was part of the items stolen.

Later, another U-Haul backed into Prestige Hookah & Smoke Shop near 8 Mile and Wyoming in Royal Oak Township.

Police are still investigating both incidents.
