The second of 5 women has been sentenced after prosecutors say she stole thousands of dollars of merchandise from an Ulta store during a ‘flash mob’ robbery in Livingston County.
30-year-old Shanel Webster, of Detroit, was sentenced Thursday to 25-60 years in prison after pleading guilty to 15 charges including armed robbery, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, and conducting a criminal enterprise.
The robbery unfolded around 8 p.m. in January of last year in Green Oak Township, which is south of Brighton. The suspects allegedly ran in and started filling their bags with products.

After the suspects fled the store, one of the women, Shanel Webster drove her get-away car right towards police, prosecutors say. Police then fired shots but no one was hurt.
Charged were the following:
▪️Scott, Tirezah Renee was sentenced last month to 17-40 years
▪️Williams, Kari, due in court on 1/24/2023 for sentencing.
▪️Chase, Laronda, due in court 1/24/2023 for sentencing.
▪️Williams, Joya, due in court 2/1 for sentencing.
