Search underway for missing teen who was last seen with boyfriend

A search is underway by community members in Inkster for a missing teen who is believed to be in danger.

17-year-old London Thomas was last seen on Saturday, April 5. London was seen on Carlysle Street in Inkster, reportedly with her boyfriend, according to family.

Her phone later pinged in a field near Cooper Upper Elementary School, located on Ann Arbor Trail, between Inkster and Middlebelt Roads, which is near a graveyard.

She is described as 5’8, 115 pounds, with red and blonde hair and a red butterfly tattoo on her neck. She was last seen wearing pink Crocs, black leggings, and either a black hoodie with a Jason mask or a green hoodie that says “1-800 Mental Health Matters.”

A community search party is currently happening where her phone last pinged. We are told her boyfriend was taken in for questioning.

Anyone with information on London’s whereabouts is urged to contact Police.
