Royal Oak Taco fest returns this weekend

🌮The Royal Oak Taco Fest returns today and Sunday with over 50 of Michigan’s top taco trucks.

“This year’s Royal Oak Taco Fest is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet, with an incomparable array of taco trucks, cerveza, and drinks, all in a vibrant atmosphere and fantastic music to go with it,” said Jon Witz, Royal Oak Taco Fest event producer.

The festival features Lucha Libre wrestling, hot sauce challenges, taco-eating contests, tequila sampling, a dog pageant, axe throwing, and artisan vendors.

Over 50 local entertainment acts across five stages will provide a variety of musical genres, while strolling Mariachi performers.

There will be Kids’ Zone with inflatables, arts and crafts, face painting, and a new ropes course. A thrilling 300-foot zip line.

Door, tickets are $12. Festival hours are 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. on July 4-6, and 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on July 7.
