A Rochester Hills man has been formally charged in connection with an incident involving a 15-year-old victim.
Police say Valor James Harrison, 22, was arraigned on Aug. 28 in 35th District Court. He faces multiple felony charges, including criminal sexual conduct – third degree and accosting a child for immoral purposes.
Bond was set at $100,000 (no 10%), and Harrison is currently being held at the Wayne County Jail.
Investigators say the case began in July, when Harrison allegedly contacted the juvenile through Instagram and later met the victim for sexual activity. He was taken into custody on Aug. 26 by detectives.
Authorities also noted Harrison has had a prior encounter with law enforcement for sexual inappropriate behavior.
