A Pontiac woman fed up with waiting for city repairs has taken matters into her own hands by filling potholes on her neighborhood street.
60-year-old Betty Lewis-Rand, a lifelong Pontiac resident, was seen shoveling materials into the potholes outside her home. Since her husband’s passing, she’s been patching these road hazards for years.
Supporters have cheered her on, including her neighbor who caught her in the act.
