
Police are now searching for a person of interest after shots were fired Thursday evening at Martin Luther King Jr. High School in Detroit.
The shooting happened in the school’s parking lot on Lafayette near McDougall around 8:26 p.m. Police say no one was hurt, but over 20 shell casings were found at the scene.
Several students were in the lot for a prom lineup when an altercation broke out, leading to the shots being fired.
