Detroit police, along with Wayne County Deputies, have teamed up and launched Operation ‘Winter Warrant Blast.’
In the two-day operation, police went after alleged violent offenders and people who had felony warrants but refused to surrender themselves. One has been allegedly linked to a shooting and was a repeat offender, according to officials.
We rode along with the ‘FAST’ team while they made some of those arrests in Detroit and surrounding areas.
The Fugitive Apprehension Services Team (FAST) was assembled by Wayne County Executive Warren Evans and Mayor Duggan a few years back to go after dangerous criminals.
