Two people were shot Tuesday night at Downriver bar and grill in Ecorse.
It happened on West Jefferson, directly across from the police department.
The bar released the following statement:
“On August 5th around 9pm there was an incident in the parking lot of our establishment. Two customers were walking back to their cars after ordering food when a small suv, traveling through the alley, opened fired. Two people were grazed by bullets, there were no casualties. Both individuals drove to the hospital and were released the same night. There was no gun fire inside of the establishment. The police department arrived very quickly. Downriver Bar and Grill is cooperating with the Ecorse Police Department Detectives and has provided video footage of the incident.”
Both victims are expected to be okay.
