Police Gear, Handcuffs, Glock Found as Carjacking Suspects Tried Tossing Evidence Into Detroit River

Two suspects were arrested earlier this week in connection to an armed-carjacking that officials say was organized and premeditated.

The two men robbed a victim’s blazer and stole their money before fleeing.

Police surveillance tracked the suspects to a remote area near the Detroit River, where officers observed them unloading items into a black bag, and getting ready to throw into the Detroit River.

Recovered evidence included clothing that matched surveillance video, a Glock, and additional items found in the vehicle: handcuffs, gorilla tape, gloves, multiple hoodies, bulletproof vests, and police-style T-shirts. Both men face multiple felonies.
