Officials called off Detroit’s Cass Tech vs. King High School football game Friday night at Wayne State’s Adams Field after the stadium became too crowded and brawls broke out.
Cass Tech was leading 20-0 in the third quarter when fans spilled past seating areas. Several brawls then broke out.
Authorities eventually called the game to keep everyone safe.
The game will resume Saturday at 2 p.m. without fans.
