An Oakland County Sheriff’s deputy was shot in the head and chest during an operation to arrest a suspect in a stolen car in #Detroit.
The incident occurred Saturday night on Park Grove, near Gratiot and McNichols.
The suspect in a stolen car shot the officer who was in plain clothes before fleeing the scene.
CPR was being performed on the officer while en route to the hospital. The suspect remains on the run.
