New Era Detroit stepped up this Black Friday to make a difference by renting out an entire hotel for people living on the streets and families in need. @neweradetroit
The event provided not only shelter for the weekend but also an array of services aimed at helping people rebuild their lives.
The initiative included free food, clothing, haircuts, nail salon services, and housing assistance. Attendees were also connected to job resources, and children were treated to fun activities, including an exotic petting zoo.
The event also featured a car giveaway and a special appearance by Detroit’s Jalen Rose.
