MSP and DPD Face Off in Charity Basketball Game to Support Youth

The Michigan State Police and Detroit Police Department are set to face off on the basketball court in a high-energy charity game aimed at supporting youth engagement.

The event takes place Saturday, August 16 at 6:30 p.m. at University Prep, located at 485 W. Milwaukee Avenue in Detroit.

Admission is $10, with all proceeds benefiting the First Responders Tour — a national program that brings youth together with local police and fire departments through friendly, competitive basketball games.

Attendees are encouraged to come out, support a great cause, and cheer on their favorite team in what promises to be an exciting matchup.
