“Movie Nights in the D” returns to Campus Martius Park for the summer.
This free outdoor movie series launches Friday, June 13, with a showing of Mufasa: The Lion King. The film begins at 7 p.m., but organizers encourage attendees to arrive by 6 p.m. for pre-movie activities on the lawn. Guests are welcome to bring a blanket or chair and enjoy an evening of entertainment in the heart of the city.
The event features weekly screenings every Friday through August. Concessions, including popcorn, will be available on-site.
