A motorcycle rider died after a crash late Saturday night on Detroit’s east side.
The collision happened just after midnight near East 7 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue and involved a motorcycle and a Dodge Durango.
The rider was rushed to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
This is the third fatal motorcycle crash in Detroit in a week:
• Tuesday night: A crash on I-75 near Fort Street left one person dead.
• Thursday night: Another fatal crash happened on Grand River Avenue near West Grand Boulevard.
