Michigan State police save woman who has been missing for 6 years

Michigan State Police saved a woman who has been missing since 2017 after forcing entry into an Inkster Motel.

Detectives received a tip about a missing person. The caller said that it was her stepdaughter who had been missing since 2017 contacted her and told her she was being held against her will at a motel.

Detectives responded to the Evergreen Motel in Inkster. A girl was heard screaming and crying from a motel room. Officers made forcible entry into the room and saved her, police said

A search warrant was conducted and officers seized drugs, cell phones and a firearm.
