Michigan Sheriff’s Office Asks People to Report the Crimes of Their Exes for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is almost here, and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has a unique offer for people with information on ex-valentines with outstanding warrants.

The Sheriff announced the 2025 ‘Valentine’s Day Special,’ encouraging citizens to help law enforcement locate people with active warrants or those driving with drugs or guns.

If you know their location, you can call the Sheriff’s Office, and they’ll take care of the rest.

According to the sheriff’s office news release, those caught will receive:
• Limited-edition platinum bracelets (handcuffs)
• Free chauffeur transportation (police escort)
• A one-night minimum stay at Monroe County Jail
• A professional glamour shot (mugshot) that may be shared online
• A special Valentine’s Day dinner

“This special is too sweet to pass up!” says the Sheriff’s Office.
