Charges have been filed after a viral video captured a woman maced her hairstylist in Detroit.
According to, prosecutors, the defendant, Dejay Carlock, went into inside to get her hair done. After the hair stylist was done, she allegedly told her she wouldn’t pay for it because she didn’t like it.
The hair stylist and the female suspect then went outside.
“I went outside to get her license plate! This lady started to break my things in the salon; she went outside hollering that I’m threatening her,” said foreverbeautybraids in a social media post.
The suspect maced the hairstylist three times, allegedly threatened to strangle her with car battery cables, and said she was “lucky I didn’t shoot your a**,” prosecutors said.
Prosecutors wanted to give her a 5K cash bond, but her attorney, Raed Mourad, argued it down to a personal bond.
