Men charged in murder of Hutch found guilty

2 men charged in the death of an Oak Park Jewelry store owner have been found GUILTY on Thursday after a jury trial.

Marco Bisbikis and Roy Larry were charged in the murder of Dan “Hutch” Hutchinson. Hutchinson owned the well-known jewelry shop Hutch’s.

Marco Bisbikis was one of Hutch’s attorneys. Marco is accused of writing himself in Hutch’s will before plotting to murder him and his wife for millions of the money that was in Hutch’s Trust.

The shooting happened outside Hutch’s shop in 2022. Roy Larry was the man who was accused of fatally shooting Hutch’s. Prosecutors say he fired shots at Hutch’s car while he was sitting with his wife. Hutch died, and his wife survived the shooting.

Both were found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and other felonies.

Two other men were charged in his murder and took plea deals. In return, Darnell Larry and Raptoplous testified against Marco and Roy Larry.
