A manhunt is underway after a suspect wanted in connection to several armed robberies in metro Detroit led police on a chase Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect robbed an AutoZone store in Highland Park, and officers later spotted his vehicle. A pursuit followed, ending when the suspect crashed near Livernois and McNichols.
After the crash, the suspect fled on foot. Michigan State Police, the FBI, and local departments responded to the scene.
The suspect remains on the run, and police continue their search. Anyone with information can contact police.
