A 22-year-old Northville Township man has been charged with multiple felonies involving a juvenile victim, according to police.
Charles Willis was arraigned on April 30, 2025, at the 35th District Court on charges including kidnapping, enticing a female under 16 for immoral purposes, and criminal s.xual conduct. His bond was set at $1 million cash (no 10%), and he remains held at the Wayne County Jail.
Police say the charges stem from an incident that began on April 25, when Willis contacted a 14-year-old girl through Snapchat.
He allegedly arranged and paid for an Uber to bring the girl to his home from more than 2 hours away.
Investigators say the victim was instructed to stay in the basement of Willis’ home. Around 5:30 a.m. on April 27, she was found walking alone near Seven Mile and Sheldon roads.
Officers executed a search warrant at Willis’ home later that day and arrested him.
Detectives say Willis has a history of prior contact with law enforcement over similar allegations involving minor females, though those cases were unrelated to this incident.
