A woman was stabbed Saturday on the northbound Lodge Freeway near West Grand Boulevard around 11:00 p.m., according to Michigan State Police.
Troopers say a 44-year-old Orchard Lake woman and a 40-year-old Farmington Hills man were driving when they got into an argument.
The woman threw a drink and a liquor bottle at the man while he was driving. The man then pulled out a knife and stabbed her multiple times.
The man was arrested and taken to the Detroit Detention Center. The woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are calling it a domestic situation. The case remains under investigation.
