A suspect is wanted after robbing $38,000 at gunpoint during a Facebook marketplace meetup.
The incident occurred in the parking lot of O’Reilly Auto parts Saturday evening at W Vernor Highway & Pearl St.
The victim and the suspect agreed to meet in the parking lot via Facebook messenger to purchase a blue 2021 Dodge Charger for $38,000.
The suspect produced a gun and stole the victim’s $38,000 in cash that he had ready to purchase the charger.
The suspect then fled the location in the Charger.
